Gaya Tumuli for World Heritage

Inscribing Gaya Tumuli (Gimhae Daeseong-dong Tumuli, Haman Marisan tumuli, Hapchen Okjeon tumuli, Goryung Jisan-dong tumuli, Goseong songhakdong tumuli, Changnyeong Gyodong and songhyeondong tumuli, Namwon Yugok-ri and Durak-ri tumuli) to the UNESCO World Heritage List means they become critical heritages that the mankind must protect no matter of specific country, and no longer a specific nation’s heritage. 

It is our cultural pride to inform the world of Gaya Tumuli, which has been carefully preserved. If you are listed as a World Heritage Site, you will be sure that Gaya Tumuli will increase its international reputation and increase the number of tourists. Above all, we will surely be able to convey the value of Gaya Tumuli to our next generation as well as our descendants.
